A torn ligament, a fracture or surgery often means the same thing for anyone who trains: a limb in a cast or a sling and weeks of watching hard earned muscle fade. It feels natural to reach for extra protein to fight that loss, and a whey shake is the easiest way to add it. Why muscle disappears so fast when you stop moving
