De Miranda (2021) saw better skin hydration and elasticity after a few months, with wide differences between the pooled trials. Pu (2023) reported a comparable and small effect. Peres (2022) pointed out that those studies are too heterogeneous to pool and that many were paid for by producers.
Who it makes sense for: Adults who want a modest improvement in skin hydration and elasticity and accept a small effect.
