Our mission
We work out what is in a supplement and what you pay for it. No brand pays us to say anything else about that. With protein powder it comes down to the price per gram of protein, with pre-workout to the dosage, because those are full of ingredients dosed too low to do anything. You will rarely read that last part on other comparison sites.
How does it work?
Every day we fetch prices from the shops themselves. From those we calculate price per gram of protein for protein powder, and for pre-workout the price per effective dose, so a big tub with little in it loses to a smaller one that is properly dosed. We keep every price change, so you can also see whether a deal really is one.
Independent
We are not tied to any brand or shop. The site runs on affiliate links, and those change nothing about the order or the verdict. An ingredient with thin evidence gets that label even when the brand behind it pays well. How we weigh that evidence is on our sources page, so you can check our reasoning yourself.

WheyWijzer is the project of one independent builder from the Netherlands, with no marketing team behind it. Everything on this site, from the daily price scrapers to the comparison logic, is self-built. That keeps the site fast, honest and free of sponsored rankings. Questions or feedback? Our data
We track over 150 products from forty brands across eight categories, from whey and plant protein to pre-workout, creatine and gainers, with daily prices from twenty-five shops. On top of that we describe 76 ingredients with their clinical dosage, their evidence level and 226 sources from peer-reviewed research. Nutritional values are taken from the official product pages and checked when we add them. If something is wrong, let us know and we will correct it.
