Each product is reviewed by a panel of 4 people with different backgrounds: experienced athletes and non-athletes.
Preparation
We prepare each product according to the label instructions using a standard shaker bottle with room-temperature water.
Score
Scores are given across 4 categories: taste (50%), mixability (25%), smell (15%) and packaging (10%). The final score is the weighted average.
Independent
All reviews are independent. Scores are not influenced by brands, partnerships or advertisers.

What is a WheyWijzer Review?
A WheyWijzer Review is an independent assessment of a protein powder or supplement by our 4-person review panel. We score on taste, mixability, smell and packaging.
Who is on the review panel?
Our panel consists of 4 people: two experienced athletes who drink shakes daily, a woman with different taste preferences, and a non-athlete (40+) who judges purely as a drink.
How is the final score calculated?
The final score is a weighted average: taste counts for 50%, mixability for 25%, smell for 15% and packaging for 10%. Each category is individually scored by the panel on a scale of 1 to 10.
Can I request a review for my product?
Yes! Brands can request a review via our request form. We review products independently. The outcome is always honest, regardless of who requests it.
