Rankings — how the order works

For whey and casein, we sort by price per gram of protein. That’s fairer than the price on the bag. A €30 tub with 22g protein per scoop can end up costing more than a €45 one with 30g per scoop. We do the math for you.

For creatine and pre-workout, we default to price per serving. But watch out: brands use different serving sizes. One brand calls 3 grams a serving, another calls it 5 grams. That makes price per serving misleading sometimes. Use the “price per kg” sort option instead — it compares purely on weight and price, no serving size tricks.

Comparisons

Want to see two products side by side? Go to the comparison page and pick two products from the same category. You’ll see all specs next to each other: price, protein, weight, price per gram. Including a clear breakdown of who wins on what.

We also auto-generate comparisons between popular products. You’ll find those on the product pages themselves.

The quiz

Don’t feel like scrolling through every product? The quiz asks you a few questions about your goals, budget and preferences. Based on that, you get a personal recommendation. Takes about a minute.

Discount codes

On the discount codes page you’ll find codes shared by other users. You can vote on each code whether it works or not. Codes with too many negative votes get hidden automatically.

Click a code and it’s copied to your clipboard. If there’s an affiliate link attached, the shop opens in a new tab. Saves you the search.

Availability by country

Not every product is sold in every country. WheyWijzer detects your country and shows only products available to you by default. You can turn that filter off if you want to see everything — useful if you order across borders anyway.

What we don’t do

We don’t rank products higher because a brand pays us. The order is purely based on data. Some links on the site are affiliate links: if you buy through us, we receive a small commission. That doesn’t change the ranking or the price you pay.
