What the research shows
No sound research in humans.
Pandit (2016) measured higher blood hormone levels in men aged 45 to 55, without measuring symptoms, strength or wellbeing. Keller (2019) found no effect across the whole group of 63 recreationally active men, only in a subgroup formed afterwards. Morgado (2024) calls it at most possibly effective in late-onset hypogonadism, based on one branded extract.
Who it makes sense for: Nobody demonstrably: the evidence consists of isolated small trials with branded extracts and no independent replication.
